I couldn’t help but share this. I came across a blog a little while ago and I have to say, I am so upset right now. This video was from a few months ago and was put on YouTube and received over 8 million views. It shows a school bus monitor, an older woman named Karen and how she was bullied by the children! It is so far beyond what I experienced bullying being in school when I was younger. We all think it’s great there are some districts that are putting monitors on the buses however, in this case she didn’t help. Instead she was bullied to the point of tears. These few children called her horrible names, said she was going to die of diabetes, that they were going to stab her, and egg her house. These parents should be ashamed of these children. Maybe that’s not enough? These kids are obviously taught that this type of behavior is acceptable. This kind of disrespect should not be tolerated. What in the world has happened to our school systems? How is this happening? It’s not just about Karen, this is happening everywhere. Bullying is not okay. Schools need to step up!
This is outrageous and sickening! I find it hard to believe that these children can be so heartless. What happened to the golden rule? I hope the parents have learned what happened and have decided to wake up and raise responsible citizens! Disgusting!
