Does anyone notice changes in your skin as you get older, maybe as the seasons change, or environmental changes around you? Or even your eating habits? Well, I have noticed my skin has changed. Due to many reasons I’m sure. My every day face wash is no longer cutting it. Time to spend some extra TLC for my face.
I recently started playing around with some new face masks just looking for something that would really clear the pores and help my skin. I travel so much through out the year and that’s no friend to your skin with all the different toxins and radicals out there. Plus, it’s great to add something extra to your daily routine to really keep the skin clear and keep pores clean. So I did some research, asked some friends and found a few to try. Here’s my review on the following products:
1. Boscia Luminizing Black Mask – I really liked this Mask. I would probably give it an 8 out of 10. This particular mask was good for my skin that tends to be slightly oily. I like this mask because after it dries for 20 minutes, it peels off. My skin felt super soft and smooth. You can find this at Sephora for about $35.
2. GlamGlow Super Mud Treatment - This mud mask was awesome. It smelled so amazing, a little like black licorice but you could smell the freshness from the ingredients. They were very soothing and it had a cooling effect while drying that felt amazing and relaxing. My skin was very smooth and silky afterward. I didn’t feel it was as drying as the others but felt very refreshing afterward. I would give this mask a 9 out of 10. I am looking forward to trying their other products as well. This was was more pricey however, and it’s a small jar that will probably do about 8 masks. I got it from Sephora at a price of $69 I believe.
Also with both of these masks, you can do them about twice a week!
3. Boscia Bright White Mask – This mask was very drying to the pores and feels pretty smooth, however it didn’t peel off or come off too easliy. With the Black Luminizing mask it came off easily in one piece but this took a while to scrub off. Still felt amazing! Also there was some slight redness on the cheeks and I did not feel this would be good for hydration but rather for oily skin. I’d give it a 7 out of 10. At Sephora for $38.
